REOPENING PLAN

PHASE 1 – May 25th, 2020

We are working hard to reopen the Salon on May 25th 2020. We would like to share some important information about visiting the salon so we all stay safe.

We will begin calling clients who had their appointments cancelled between March 19th and May 24th FIRST to rebook their appointments. We will then begin to call clients who have filled out our waitlist form. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist, please click the link below. If your appointment was cancelled, please DO NOT place yourself on the waitlist, or we will be calling and bothering you twice. We will open the phone lines to the general public once we have completed those calls or we reach May 25th, whichever comes first.

The New Salon Experience

Client Health Screening: Our Receptionists will conduct a health screening during their confirmation calls to ensure Clients do not have any COVID 19 symptoms. Anyone displaying symptoms will be rescheduled and will not be allowed to enter the salon.

Staggered Appointments: Appointments will be staggered to manage the total number of people in the salon at one time. We ask Clients to remain outside, or in your vehicle, until we notify you to enter.

Personal Items: Clients are asked to limit their items to a cell phone/tablet, book and method of payment. No purses, bags or coats are allowed in the salon.

Clients Only: No family or friends are permitted during your appointment.

Adults Only: We will not be performing services on children under 12 years of age at this time, and they must be unaccompanied by an adult.

Retail and Gift Card Purchases: If you are having your hair done, please allow us to handle your retail purchases. We will have them ready at the desk when you pay. Walk-In clients are asked to call or email in order for us to have your order ready when you arrive.

Sanitization and Safety Protocols: All Clients must wash their hands at the sink for a minimum of 20 seconds and dry them thoroughly upon arrival. Hand sanitizer will also be available at all stations. All Staff and Clients must wear a mask at all times on the premises.

Snacks and Beverages: We will not be serving any snacks or beverages at this time. Clients are asked to leave all food and beverage items at home, as they cannot be consumed with a mask on.

Payment Methods: No cash will be accepted at this time. We will email receipts instead of providing paper copies. Your email address will be required if we don’t have it on file already.

The New Salon Setup

Stylist Stations: We will have a maximum of 7 Stylists working at a time. Clients having their hair coloured will remain at the same station for their colour and their cut.

Shampoo Stations: We will be using the two outside sinks in order to maintain appropriate physical distancing. Barriers will be installed if more than 2 sinks are required.

Disinfection and Sanitization: Stations, sinks, reception desk and washroom will be thoroughly cleaned between each client interaction using Government approved products only. All tools, towels and capes will be cleaned and/or disinfected between each client.

We are so excited to see you again! Please keep in mind that our Stylists will only be taking one client at a time, so it will take twice as long to reschedule all of the cancelled appointments.
